Tamara Greear is as a partner at the firm’s Norton, Virginia office. She is registered and licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and has over 30 years of accounting experience. Tamara specializes in governmental and not-for-profit organizations, audit and pre-audit consulting services, corporate accounting, financial reporting, and business and individual taxation.

She has for over 18 years performed “Yellow Book” and single audits for Governments and Not-for-Profit organizations.  Her experience includes cities, towns, counties, utilities, schools, community action agencies, industrial and economic development authorities, housing authorities and various entities with HUD reporting requirements.  Tamara’s governmental expertise also includes performing audits under the Specifications for Audits of Counties, Cities and Towns issued by the Auditor of Public Accounts for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Tamara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, is former chair and member of the VSCPA Accounting and Auditing Advisory Committee and she serves on the VSCPA Peer Review Committee.
