Samuel (Sam) began his public accounting career in 2004. He conducts audits and reviews for a wide variety of industries: construction, retail, manufacturing and distribution, consumer products, non-profit, and franchising entities. His clients range from start-ups to middle-market companies with revenues in excess of $300 million.

Prior to joining Rodefer Moss, Sam worked for Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC in their Atlanta, GA, office, providing assurance and small business solutions services to various start-up to middle market industry niches. His experience during a fast-paced growth period in Atlanta gave Sam exposure to the needs of growing small to medium sized businesses and the challenges they face on a daily basis.

Sam has written for various industry specialty groups, given presentations and spoken to associations on a variety of financial reporting and compliance matters.

He is a member of several East Tennessee professional and trade organizations, and is currently serving on the board of directors of the Greater Tennessee Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. He is also the chairman of the Construction Accounting Network.
