Emma McCarthy is a Manager with the tax and assurance practices of Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC. She has provided tax, assurance and advisory services to consolidated corporations, closely held businesses and their owners. ​

 ​Emma provides tax advisory services to clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, wholesale, retail, transportation and real estate for mostly non-public companies. She also provides assurance services and financial statement preparation for a variety of non-public companies.​

 ​Prior to joining Rodefer Moss, Emma worked for two regional accounting firms, one located in the Chicago market, and one located in the Baltimore/Washington DC market. Services performed at these firms included assurance work for non-public companies and not-for-profit entities, as well as tax services for these entities and their owners. She also spent eight years volunteering for various organizations while raising her children and following her husband around the world during his time in the Army.​

 ​Emma is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and she is also a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).​
