Samuel “Sam” has thirteen years of experience in public accounting and conducts audits and reviews for a wide variety of industries, including construction, retail, manufacturing and distribution, consumer products, non-profit, and franchising entities. His clients range from start-ups to middle market companies with revenues in excess of $300 million.
Prior to joining Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC, Sam worked for Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC in their Atlanta office, providing assurance and small business solutions services to various start-up to middle market industry niches. His experience during a fast-paced growth period in Atlanta gave Sam exposure to the needs of growing small to medium sized businesses and the challenges they face on a daily basis.
Sam has written for various industry specialty groups, given presentations and spoken to associations on a variety of financial reporting and compliance matters.
He also spends his time as a member of several East Tennessee professional and trade organizations, and is currently serving on the board of directors and is immediate past Chairman of the Greater Tennessee Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. He is also a member of the Construction Accounting Network.
