Ron has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. He has partnered on the audits of publicly held companies and has assisted them in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures, management analysis and the identification and disclosure of risk factors for numerous public filings with the Securities Exchange Commission.

He assists governments in implementation and continuing compliance with grant provisions for State and Federal awards, and has assisted a newspaper holding company with multiple acquisitions. He has consulted and assisted in the identification and enforcement of contractual rights pertaining to intellectual property, performed financial due diligence and feasibility work on various mergers and acquisitions, and performed reviews and assessments and developed recommendations for enhancements and improvements of large information/accounting systems.

Ron’s employee benefit plan experience spans the evolution of savings and retirement plans, including profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans, corporate pension plans and other benefit plans. He is the lead partner on many of our benefit plan engagements.

Other areas in which Ron has concentrated include construction and financial institutions. Ron is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and is registered and licensed to practice as a certified public accountant in the State of Tennessee.
