As a result, we provide an audit team that is seasoned to deal with project accounting.
From a tax perspective, we have numerous clinets with multi-state filing requirements, and file state tax returns in all of the contiguous United States. We have also logged thousands of hours in tax research and consulting, including very complex contract accounting and multi-state issues.
In addition, we regularly participate in several construction industry groups as follows:
- Jimmy Rodefer is a co-founder and current Chairman of the Executive Committee of the national Construction Accounting Network (CAN);
- Tim Van Cleve is the co-chairman of the Tax Advisory Subcommittee of the Construction Accounting Network;
- Three partners in the firm have achieved the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional offered by the Construction Financial Management Association.
The firm is also an active supporter with either individual or corporate memberships in:

Project Management Sector
In addition to serving numerous construction companies, we also serve numerous developers, architects and engineers which engage in project management activities. In addition to providing audit and tax services within this industry, Rodefer Moss has been called upon to assist in the financial administration of several unique projects, including:
- The World Trade Center Cleanup Project (2001)
- San Diego Fires (2003)
- Hurricane Cleanup in Florida and Alabama (2004)
- Hurricane Katrina Cleanup Project (2005-2009)
